FOR WINDOWS/PC
- Click WINDOW BUTTON and the letter R together - this will bring up a RUN box.
- In the address bar of the window, replacing what is entered with the following address. \\printers
- Look at all the copiers and printers available and make a list of what you'd like installed.
- Due to a security update by Microsoft, you will need to come by the helpdesk so we can use our admin password to install all the printers you need.
**NOTE -- You will only be able to print to the printers to which you have access to.
FOR MAC OS/Apple
Add a network copier/printer
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
Click the Add button at the bottom of the printer list, click IP button
, then enter the printer information, using the following table as a guide.
Type in the IP address of the Printer you'd like to add. To find the IP address, please look at the following list available to STAFF/FACUTY. Copier/Printer List
Then change the Protocol to the following: Line Printer Daemon - LPD
Then enter a "name" for that printer that you will recognize. Example "US mailroom", otherwise it will name the printer by the IP address which makes it difficult to determine which printer is which.
