Turning on Lights

To turn on the lights, locate a 10-button panel next to the East or West double doors.

Press "Preset 1". This will turn on the lights to "Full" (100%).
Setting Up Your Presentation
- Locate USB-C connector on the lectern and connect to a laptop's USB-C charging port. This will charge your laptop, display video, and play audio.
- If a USB-C port is NOT available, please contact the Audio Visual Coordinator before your class/meeting.
- Set Up Laptop Audio
- Once the USB-C cable is connected (verify you are receiving power), right click the speaker icon on the bottom right of your desktop.

- Select Crestron from the drop-down menu.

- Once connected, test the laptop audio level before moving on to set up the microphone.
- I suggest turning the laptop level or specific program level (iTunes) down before playing.
- On a Mac, you'll need to change the audio output select via the System Settings "Sound" page: ➡︎ System Settings ➡︎ Sound
- In the "Output & Input" section, select "Crestron ___ DisplayPort" for the output selection.
- Once connected, test the laptop audio level before moving on to set up the microphone.
- Locate the keypad on the right of the podium and press the "HDMI" button. This will lower the screen, turn on the projector, and unmute the room audio.
- You should now be able to see your laptop's screen on the projector screen.
- You can now test any audio you may have.
Checking Microphone Audio
- Press the "Mic Mute" button to unmute the microphone.
- Adjust the level using the "Mic Vol ⬆︎/⬇︎" buttons.
- When you pressed the "Mic Mute" above, the microphone should have turned on. If not...
- Ensure that the mic is connected to the wall plate located below the dry erase board.
NOTE: If you are unable to hear audio from the microphone or laptop, press the "Room Mute" button on the podium keypad. This will toggle all audio between MUTE ON/OFF.
NOTE: On the podium keypad you will see volume adjustments. "Room Vol ⬆︎/⬇︎"
Using the room
- Keypad Functions
- System ON- Turns on projector, brings down screen, unmutes computer audio
- Mic Vol ⬆︎/⬇︎- Changes the level of the lectern microphone
- Mic Mute- Mutes the lectern microphone
- Off (5 sec)- Turns of all room AV and resets room level
- Lights- Toggles the light level between 100% and 50%
- Room Vol ⬆︎/⬇︎- Changes the level of the overall room level (including microphone)
- Room Mute- Mutes the room audio (including microphone)
- There should be no need to use the wall-mounted touch panel unless in special situations. Please contact the Audio Visual Coordinator further assistance, if needed.
Turning off the room
- Locate the keypad on the right of the podium and press & hold the "Off (5 sec)" button until you see the screen retracting. The video and audio systems are now off.
Turning off Lights

To turn on the lights, locate a 10-button panel next to the East or West double doors.
